Coming soon to a delivery room near you: ScarJo Junior! Sagittarius siren Scarlett Johansson announced her pregnancy. She’s apparently about four months along, which would mean she’s probably expecting a little Virgo baby. (See our cosmic conception calendar here.)
Scarlett, 28 is a Sagittarius Rat with a Scorpio moon (like us!) and a Sagittarius rising. Since worldly Sagittarius is the zodiac’s international ambassador, it’s no surprise the father of her babe-to-be is French journalist and fellow art-lover Romain Dauriac. Sag women like their men smart and often, imported! While we have yet to find his sign, here’s a little bit more about her mystery man, whom she met through a mutual friend and tattoo artist.
Since Sagittarius is one of the zodiac’s least traditional signs, she’ll follow in the footsteps of fellow Archer mamas Katie Holmes, Snooki and Christina Aguilera—starting with baby first, marriage second (the couple announced that they were engaged in September 2013). This breezy style makes Sagittarius a fun mom, but can also bring a bit of a wakeup call to the active Archer mother when naptimes, feedings, school dropoffs and other routines cut into her adventurous plans. Not that she won’t have help, but hopefully she’ll have learned a thing or two from her role as the unappreciated caregiver in The Nanny Diaries.

As is often the case for spontaneous Sagittarius mamas, Scarlett’s pregnancy seems to be unplanned. In late 2012, Scarlett told the media that she wasn’t having kids anytime soon. However, she began her Saturn return—a three-year period of maturity that happens around age 28—in October 2012. Often, people become parents or meet their spouses during this serious cycle.
Still, the ambitious mom-to-be shows no signs of slowing down. Currently shooting Avengers 2: Age of Ultron, it will be interesting to see how her role as Black Widow adapts—or stretches to accommodate her growing baby bump.
